Deviation Actions
Power Up: fav.me/d2ye0kn marked my 100th deviation submitted. I'm currently working on selecting potential deviations from what I've shot this year. Currently, that's from the IndyCar and American Le Mans joint event at Mid-Ohio last month, as that was the most convenient folder on my HD. More potential deviations from the month of May at Indianapolis, as well as the Grand-Am and vintage weekends at Mid-Ohio.
Also, last month, I was able to visit the museums at Talladega and Barber Motorsports Park. Talladega was shocking in that there appeared to be zero effort being put into maintaining the collection. Rather sad seeing faded paint, peeling decals, etc. Then again, it is the France family...
In contrast, the Barber Museum was absolutely amazing! Works just as much as a museum of industrial design as sharing a massive collection of motorcycles and increasingly cars, especially those from Lotus.
Still haven't done anything regarding that threat to pursue other art forms, or seek out classes, referenced in my last post. Still trying to properly harness the power of the new camera, and grow my skills with it. The same could be said for Paint Shop Pro for improving the final product.

Getting Back in the Groove
I've seriously neglected my account here for far too long! Have plenty of potential deviations to share from 2009 from a wider variety of sources: Indy Carb Day, Northern Michigan, Fallingwater, the NHRA Museum, Bonneville, Grand Teton Nat'l Park, Petit Le Mans, and the Vintage event at Darlington.
For the last three places mentioned, I had a new camera, a Panasonic DMC-FZ35. While I learned a great deal shooting several hundred shots, I have a long way to go. :)
Beyond photography, I plan on pursuing other artwork in 2010. My wife's challenged me to get back at it, and take a class/classes if need be. Will probably start out small in co
Pole Day at Indy
Went to Pole Day at Indy on Saturday. Haven't had a chance to turn any pics into deviations yet, but here are some quick & dirty crops I uploaded to facebook on Saturday night:

Returning to dA and Passing 1,300
After several months of my account languishing, I've returned with some fresh deviations. My current work contract is a training program for Subaru. The program is primarily geared toward the launch of the new WRX STi and redesigned Forester, but I am working with the new-for-'08 standard WRX. This program started out at Moroso Motorsports Park outside West Palm Beach, FL. This weekend, I fly to Phoenix to work the next couple weeks at Firebird International Raceway, home of the Bondurant school, as well as an NHRA round. After that, we wrap at Miller Motorsport Park near Salt Lake City for a few days.
The fresh deviations are from Sebr
Back At It
Finally submitted a new deviation from my current stint on the road. I spent the summer working on a dealer training program for Subaru. I was specifically working with the Tribeca crossover, while other peers were working with the new WRX. Unlucky draw there...
For the fall, I'm working on a similar training program for the new Nissan Rogue crossover (the Qashqai in other parts of the world).
It's fun being out and about, and seeing new parts of the country, but after three weeks, I'm ready to get home to my wife and puppy. :)
